image description: six Black folks gathered close with each other, smiling. four are in the top left corner and two are in the bottom right. there is a tall tree inbetween both of them with keys hanging off the branches. in the bottom left is an open door to an apartment building. in the middle of the image it says: imagine love-filled abundant sustainable TGNC futures.

The Trans Resiliency Fund was created through the 2019 Trans Week of Resilience (TWOR) as a result of a growing demand for a collective fund for low-income trans people of colour in what is colonially known as Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Every Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR), we memorialize the hundreds of trans people who are murdered each year, the majority of whom are trans women of colour and sex workers, and bring attention to the violence and oppression they experience.

We also want to support trans people here today through this fund and envision a world where trans women, sex workers, and trans people as a whole have the support and resources to live out their full lives with dignity, respect, and safety.

To donate to the fund:

Please share this resource widely throughout your networks so that more trans community members may benefit from this opportunity!
